Saturday, June 18, 2011 19,00 p.m. at E20 -Papiano Gaia Marsciano (Perugia), is the opening of the Group Exhibition “Minimalia”.
The artists featured in “Minimalia”, small format painting show have their own distinct personality.

FOLLOWING THE EVENTS RELATING TO THE G.B. MORONI TROPHY PAINTING COMPETITION, NOW IN ITS SEVENTH EDITION IN 2010 WITH THE THEME “THE COLOURS OF MY HOMELAND” , THE MANAGEMENT OF THE NEW ARTEMISIA GALLERY, PROMOTER AND SPONSOR OF THE COMPETITION, HAS ORGANISED A COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY FOR A NUMBER OF ARTISTS WHO HAVE RECEIVED THE PRIZE CERTIFICATE OUTSTANDING WORK.
THE ARTISTS THAT HAVE PARTICIPATED PRESENT THE WORK WITH WHICH THEY WERE AWARDED THE PRIZE.
PRESENT IN THIS COLLECTIVE: AGNELLO DARIO, ARENA VITTORIA, ADA LAURA BERERA, DANNIE PRAED, DUCCOLI BRUNO, RONCELLI MIRKO, SONCINI GIOVANNI, PETRACCA LAURA.
IN THIS EXHIBITION OVERVIEW THAT HAD AS ITS THEME “THE COLOURS OF MY HOMELAND” WE FIND AMONG THE ARTISTS PRESENT, DIFFERENT TYPES OF COLOURS OF OUR TERRITORY, STARTING FROM THE SOUTH, (AGNELLO DARIO) WE HAVE THE DEPICTION OF THE FARAGLIONI OF ACITREZZA, BLAZING IN THE FIERY SUNSET, OF EQUAL SOLAR AND LUMINOUS IMPACT. PARTICULARLY WELL EXECUTED THE LECCESE COUNTRYSIDE OF (LAURA PETRACCA), MOVING UP THE PENINSULA WE ARRIVE AT (DANNIE PRAED) WHO FINDS HER TERRITORIAL COLOURS THROUGH THE FIGURE OF A WOMAN COMPLETELY IMMERSED IN AUTUMNAL COLOURSNEXT TO HER (DUCCOLI BRUNO) BRINGS A BEAUTIFUL VISION OF A VENETIAN LANDING PLACE THAT ENHANCES THE COLOURS AND LIGHTS OF THE VENETIAN LAGOON. BERGAMO IS PORTRAYED BY (RONCELLI MIRKO) THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF THE ANCIENT AND HISTORICAL VENETO WALLS, THE DEFENCE OF THE UPPER CITY, (ARENA VITTORIA) BRINGS A WORK FULL OF THE COLOUR OF SENTIMENTS, A SUNSET JUST HINTED AT BUT BLURRED IN ALL ITS ROMANTIC COLOURS. CLOSER TO US IS THE WORK OF (ADA LAURA BERERA) WITH HER ABANDONED VINEYARD, HANGING BUNCHES OF GRAPES ALMOST DETACHED FROM NEGLECTED AND DRY BRANCHES, SOFT COLOURS REMINISCENT OF AUTUMN AND THE GRAPE HARVEST, AND LASTLY THE WORK OF (SONCINI GIOVANNI), A WORK PERHAPS DEDICATED TO A FRIEND, A STOPPED CLOCK IN METAPHYSICAL TIME FOR THIS ARTIST, WHICH CLOSES THE EXHIBITION.

COMPLIMENTING THE ARTISTS WHO HAVE JOINED THE INITIATIVE, WE INVITE THE PUBLIC TO VIEW OUR LIVE EXHIBITION, WHICH WILL END ON 25TH FEBRUARY 2011.
