Group show “Paths of Thoughts”. Beauty and experimentation in Italy from ‘900 to today. “Masters in comparison”, presented on the occasion of the Culture Week of Italian language in the world. The exhibition will be held from 16th October with the opening at 18.00 pm and to follow a major concert, until November the 14th at the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna.
The exhibition “Paths of Thoughts”. Beauty and experimentation in Italy from ‘900 to today. “Masters in comparison”, is an event arranged by the international magazine “Italian Art”, Museum MIIT and the Cultural Association Gallery Folco of Turin, in collaboration with leading cultural and artistic institutions Italian and foreign, on the occasion of the “Culture Week of Italian language in the world. An annual event sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in close cooperation with all the Italian Institutes of Culture. The review is dedicated to the great artists of the last century and selected contemporary authors such as the artist Dannie Praed.

The “Biennial of Contemporary Art” is aimed at the promotion, and enhancement of national, international, and Ciociaria artists. The competition will grant a cash prize, the mounting of a major group exhibition at the Municipal Villa of Frosinone, at the Hall of the Province of Frosinone, at theHall of Reason of Anagni. All works will be published in the catalogue.
Designed by Prof. Alfio Borghese who takes care of the artistic direction, the Biennial involves the Provincial Government and the municipalities of Anagni and Frosinone.

On January 25th, at the Great Hall of the Immaculate Oratory – Via Greppi, 2 at 16.00 pm, there will be the prize giving. The three winners will be awarded by the critical jury and the first placed by the public jury.

Culture is not priority of a few, but lately we tend to believe the opposite. This is not an empty statement when you are in the Wikiarte Gallery, open to all and affordable for all. The space of art, we know, is no longer the temple of the sacred untouchable, but what good intractable.
Well, Wikiarte not only a need for a correction, but the changes in their beliefs. The four solo exhibitions that open on 30 March are yet another demonstration and affirmation that art is for everyone and for everyone.
Entering the world of Susanne Seilkopf, because not painting we speak, but of a whole world, seems to abandon themselves to sleep. The artist is concentrated on the representation and materialization of "intuitions and sensations", as she herself says. Each technique and matter are suitable: the elaborate design of the illustrator, the conceptual object of the conceptual, the geometry of the avant -garde immersed in the whole of the chaos ordered Dadaist. The world that offers Susanne's work, autobiographical and intimate, manifests itself in different realities where each canvas involves in apparently childish games, which gather a life story, which is that of the artist and anyone who recognizes themselves in the stories designed by Seilkopf.
The interpretation of the dream life featuring paintings by Dannie Praed. A ray of light, a breath, a fast stroke: these are the guiding elements of an artist who looks at the world through the eyes of a child, but it expresses the sensitivity of women. From the representation watercolor, apparently informal, emerge as brief flashbacks, figures and real forms, tell of course, as they are and not as they result purely figurative art and attentive to detail. The painter Modena observes life with serenity and transforms it into images, thanks to its simplicity, assume immediate communicative efficiency of those who share personal memories but common, idyllic childhood of the world.
The color is form, it is sound, is a word in the works of Dianella Madrigrano who devotes his artistic research in this leading role. The rhythm of the painting is marked essential to the sound of words spoken in clear pure tones. The canvas is divided into fields of color, in disparate pages of notes. Today, more than ever, the medium is the message, perifrasiamo, the picture is communication on society and individuals. The work of Madrigrano is indicative in this respect, showing how the art of painting can take the dynamics of the medium and focus on perception again, as in classical art, as in the mass media. Regardless of content, is the means to generate content, but when this is not technological but cultural, its nature goes beyond the message, as well as writing, and painting to define a new mindset.
Aidan, a true Italian, attacks the canvas size to draw, to corrodes the color and makes it expresses the discontent of modern man. Shapes, shadows and live appearances the work of Aidan and revive in our eyes only with an application on your smartphone. Trivial and absurd will contain the bi-dimension of the canvas while painting, to our knowledge, consciousness affects the unconscious shaking. Download an APP, filter through technological means the art to make it visible to seem disinterested a “method” and instead present work is the measure, already coined by photography, behind the image there is always creative thinking.

“LOVE FOR ART”
This brief presentation will describe the development of an art project focused on the knowledge and spreading of ‘contemporary art. Art, light, reflections and colors become a universal language accessible and appealing to the public.
First edition of the prestigious “Art Award City of Fiuggi”, that we’ll see the city and the artists who participate, the protagonists of unprecedented event.
There are two Group Exhibitions lasting 15 days each at the Memory and Image Workshop with the prize giving ceremony at the Theatre of Fiuggi. At the group shows will participate only selected artists to ensure an higher artistic level.
The idea was to increase reputation of Fiuggi, as a city of art and not just as an health spa.
Fiuggi is a place with enormous possibilities of cultural expansion, but without a dedicated art award and it’s not an artist’s place, who could enhance the city of extra contents, giving rise to a strong cultural and tourist boom.
Citizenship has greeted the news with great enthusiasm and collaboration.
The real difference, however, will make the artists who will join in this ambitious plan giving their essential contribution to the cultural enrichment of the country.
The second stage is scheduled from 23th June to 7th July 2012 with a new group exhibition, during which will be selected other five artists to go in the final.
The goal is to be able to see the birth of a new collaboration among institutions, private individuals or municipality and the artists who participated in the competition, so as to encourage the spread and commission of works of art in the city, create cultural experiences that improve the site, creating wealth (in all its meaning).
