The Cultural Center of ZeroUno Barletta presents “In the Silence of Meditation” group exhibition of contemporary art, from Monday, October 29th 18.00pm until Tuesday, November 13th with free admission.
The event is sponsored by the Foundation “Giuseppe De Nittis”, curated by Anna Soricaro.
Will show works by: Alessandro Cinardo, Dannie Praed, Loredano Romanian, Silvia Senna exhibit.
The exhibition curator writes: While painting, music is listened to, or at times, the music is created by the always different gestures of the work – as we read in the press -to this dichotomy binds ‘In the Silence of Meditation’, exhibition in which diversity is the red line and the silence, together with a long and deep reflection that are required.
Alessandro Cinardo gives life to figurative to further his constant research on man. A treatment that is always different, graceful with slender strokes, now marked and pressed until thickened of matter. Through the representation of olive trees that weaves and tightens there is an ‘alchemy vision’ that becomes an enveloping way to stand by scanning the veins of the tree.
Dannie Praed starts from always different inspired motives to make an accurate portrayal in every detail, from the figures to the background, filled with hatches and soaked in ever burning colours. An art that becomes relief, freedom.
Loredana Romero is a hand, that for experience and wisdom, knows how to unfold between colours, matter, words, but is above all, a mind that can create only if the feelings take over and generate the ‘right time’.
Silvia Senna prefers linearity, simplicity, purity of the stroke to express with soft and graceful colours. Alongside an essential line combine almost naturally, colours that apparently are cool but that thicken with the filler, make the works condensed, coagulated, entrusting them with the tactility that intrigues the viewer to understand, study the detail. “
