The long-awaited and important Roman exhibition is back with the participation of national and international artists, a tribute to the tradition and history of Rome.
The prestigious Capitoline Wolf Award now in its seventh edition, a competition organized over the years by the La Rosa dei Venti Cultural Association, with the precious collaboration of the Start company as established by tradition creates a confrontation between artists, without foreclosure of styles and techniques. The exhibition of the works will take place at the Spazio Medina Roma located in the center of the capital, near the Colosseum, in Via Angelo Poliziano 32-34, Rome.
The Award, in continuity with the previous editions, configures as a relevant opportunity to have visibility in the world of contemporary art, particularly in collectors and in the market.
The opening is scheduled for February 7th at 6 pm, on this occasion the prestigious award will be given only to the first three classified artists.
The exhibition of the finalist works will start on 7 February 2020 and will end on 13 February 2020.
To open the evening of February 7th the important presence of Daniele Radini Tedeschi, writer and art critic, current curator of the Venice Biennale and editorial director of the Atlas of Contemporary Art, published by De Agostini. He’s known to the general public for his television participation in national programs.

Rome is preparing to give the Lupa Award
Great expectations for the historic Roman art appointment, now in its seventh edition, inaugurated this year by the art critic Daniele Radini Tedeschi. The important exhibition event returns with the participation of national and international artists, a tribute to the tradition and history of Rome. The prestigious Capitoline Lupa Award now in its seventh edition - a competition organized over the years by the’La Rosa dei Venti Cultural Association– as per established tradition, brings about a comparison between artists, without prejudice to styles and techniques. The exhibition of the works will take place at the Medina Gallery in Rome located in the center of the capital, near the Colosseum, precisely in Via Angelo Poliziano 32-34-36.
The Award, in continuity with the previous editions, configures as a relevant opportunity to have visibility in the world of contemporary art, particularly in collectors and in the market.
The opening is scheduled for February 7th at 18:00 hrs, on this occasion the prestigious recognition will be awarded to the first three runners up artists and among these the first will also have direct access to the exhibition “Triennial Exhibition of Visual Arts in Rome” scheduled international event for the end of the year 2020, among the most significant Italian exhibitions in the capital. The exhibition of works admitted to the Lupa Award will begin on February 7th, 2020 and will end on February 13th, 2020. To preside the opening on 7th February 2020 the authoritative presence of Daniele Radini Tedeschi, art critic and writer, curator at the Venice Biennale and director of the Atlas of Contemporary Art published by De Agostini.
